john wolf brennan: pictures in a gallery Records CD LR 464

Ever since the pictures learnt to move, they were set to music. But only very few musicians dare to transform still pictures. John Wolf Brennan is famous for his curiosity across the borderlines, so he tackles not only moods, feelings or literary texts, but also works of visual art. Two sessions – one at the Rosengart Museum in Lucerne, the other at Zapasnoj Palace in St. Petersburg – can be heard on his new solopiano album «Pictures in a Gallery». An aural delight full of surprises!
